“Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga”. IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapy)

Yoga Therapy Sessions may include specific postures, instructions, breathing practices, and mindful attention, given in a specific way-specifically for you.

Research studies show that yoga therapy supports a wide range of conditions. People often experience a reduction of symptoms related to systemic diseases, improved physical alignment, reduction of pain, and better sleep- to name a few.

Symptoms from systemic conditions can be worked with to help quiet the nervous system. Some people, through the practice of yoga therapy, have been able to reduce their symptoms, have less frequent episodes, have less intense episodes when they do occur, and live mobile active lives.

“Yoga allows you to rediscover a sense of wholeness in your life, where you do not feel like you are constantly trying to fit broken pieces together.” BKS Iyengar

Prior yoga experience is not necessary as the practice meets you where are and progresses with your own timing.

“Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured”. BKS Iyengar

Individual Yoga Therapy Sessions are offered, both, in-person and live virtual sessions online. We work with people in Denver as well as those in locations around the world.
